a fox + gypsy mother's day

Homemade Heath Bars

1c butter
1c brown sugar
2c chocolate chips
crushed nuts of choice
club crackers

How to:
Preheat the oven to 375 degree and line a baking sheet with foil and lay the club
crackers evenly across the entire sheet. In a pan combine the butter and brown sugar,
boil for three minutes. Remove from heat immediately and pour of crackers. Use a spatula
 to spread evenly and bake for five minutes. Sprinkle chocolate chips evenly across the
 crackers and bake for two minutes. With a spatula spread the chocolate over the
 crackers and top with crushed nuts of your choice. Cool, break and enjoy!

Tom Collins (with a twist)


Diet Squirt
Fresh Fruit
Olives (according to Mom )

To make:

 Pour 2 oz. of gin into your glass full of chopped fruit. Mom says oranges
and cherries work best, and we all know, mom knows best!
Then, fill the rest of your glass with Diet Squirt.
Voila! If you are feeling adventurous, Mom swears on
using olives instead of fresh fruit.
"It's a Salty Sweet thing".
Today, we are sharing our honoring our Mothers by sharing
a couple of their "signature" recipes;
Homemade Heath Bars + Tom Collins. We came to find
out both of our moms have a 'thing' for Tom Collins, and also
a sweet tooth to go with it.
Both are super easy and tasty! We hope you enjoy!
