Healthy Cookie Dough

"Dough"n't you wish it was ok to eat
Cookie Dough? Well, ok, let's be honest.
We all know we aren't SUPPOSED to,
cause you know, raw eggs, and stuff,
but we do it anyway. But we have a way
to safely indulge, without the guilt.
Especially this time of year with
all the temptations around, we could
use a little guiltless indulgence.....before
stuffing our faces with day after
Halloween candy.
Hey, life's about balance right?

When we first saw this recipe, we
admitedly thought to ourselves,
no way can you make CHICKPEAS
taste like a tub of tollhouse cookie dough.
But ALAS, it CAN BE DONE!

Not only is this recipe AH-MAZING,
but it's super easy, and only has FIVE
ingredients.

You will need:

I can of drained chickpeas
1/3 cup natural peanut butter
(or any "butter" like cookie or almond)
1.5 tsp vanilla extract
2 tbsp agave nectar

To make:

Place all ingredients EXCEPT the chocolate
chips into a food processor. Blend until smooth.
Remove your dough-like mixture from the
processor, and add in your chocolate chips.
You can chill before serving if you would
like, or dive in!

Enjoy!

We've already made this
three times in the last two weeks!
It's that good :)

Tunesday; Sean Hayes

We have recently been vibing on the
sounds of Sean Hayes
on Spotify. Particularly his
album Low Light. It's a
fantastic blend of indie,
soul and folk. It's perfect Sunday
morning, lounging at home music.
He's best known for his single
Powerful Stuff, but his single
Love That Woman can't
seem to leave our playlist.

Love That Woman

Happy Tunesday!

Roots N Blues Day 2

Better late than never!
Today we are recapping our day two
of the
Roots N Blues N BBQ festival.

Roots N Blues Festival had such a
great vibe that seemed contagious.
Every artist that hit the stage just put
on the show of their life. Everyone
looked like they were just having
an absolute blast, which seemed to radiate
throughout the crowd. We could all feel it.

Our first Roots N Blues as bloggers will be hard to beat. It was a overall memorable in every sense of a festival experience. We saw some of our ultimate favorite artists, new artists and music legends. We look forward to repeating our attendance at the festival for years to come.
